Economical grinding of hard-coated brakes

The automotive industry is currently undergoing rapid change. The EU Euro 7 emissions standard, which is due to come into force in 2026, will drive a significant reduction in particulate pollution.

At the same time, regulations for permissible brake wear and for tires will come into force, drastically changing the requirements for vehicle manufacturers and, for the first time, directly affecting e-vehicles. This leads directly to a further development of the brake concepts currently in use.

High-quality cup grinding wheels and segments

The machining of coatings made of hard materials is extremely difficult - which is why excellent abrasives and high spindle performance are essential for the machining of brake discs.

The new Tyrolit GRAVIS product line offers tools for double-sided surface grinding of hard-coated brake discs with the highest quality segments and cup wheels. These specially developed products achieve an even removal rate on both sides of the brake disc and offer you maximum cutting ability, resulting in only low grinding forces. With Tyrolit products, you can achieve the best surface results in the shortest possible time with incomparable durability.
